Glassblowing I
Learn basic techniques of gathering, marvering, blocking, and blowing molten glass. Students will learn to blow their own forms and to assist other glassblowers. No prerequisite or previous experience necessary.
Five Tuesday evening classes: 6:30 - 9:30 PM

May 20 – June 17, 2008 or July 01 – July 29, 2008 or August 12 – September 09, 2008

Glassblowing II
This course is a continuation of "Glassblowing I". Students will refine their blown forms and gain a greater understanding of hot glass as well as other technical aspects of glassblowing. Prerequisite I Glassblowing or previous experience.
Five Thursday evening classes: 6:30 - 9:30 PM
May 22 – June 19, 2008 or July 03 – July 31, 2008 or August 14 – September 11, 2008

Open Studio: Glass
The first Saturday of every month students can learn the basics of glassblowing or just enjoy watching glass being blown into art.
First Saturday of each month: 12:00 - 4:30 PM
June 7, 2008 or July 5, 2008 or August 2, 2008

All classes taught by Gail Dahlberg and are held in the Glassblowing Studio at the Anderson Center.
