Classes & Forms
 

All classes taught by Gail Dahlberg and are held in the Glassblowing Studio at the Anderson Center.

  • Glassblowing I
    Learn basic techniques of gathering, marvering, blocking, and blowing molten glass. Students will learn to blow their own forms and to assist other glassblowers. No prerequisite or previous experience necessary.
    Five Tuesday evening classes: 6:30 - 9:30 PM

  • Glassblowing II
    This course is a continuation of "Glassblowing I". Students will refine their blown forms and gain a greater understanding of hot glass as well as other technical aspects of glassblowing. Prerequisite I Glassblowing or previous experience.
    Five Thursday evening classes: 6:30 - 9:30 PM
  • Open Studio: Glass
    The first Saturday of every month students can learn the basics of glassblowing or just enjoy watching glass being blown into art.
    First Saturday of each month: 12:00 - 4:30 PM
